How do I make an Enquiry or Booking of a Stage Set or Cloth? Please send us an email to info@stageashow.org with your enquiry, including dates of performance and your venue, or use the form on most pages of this site including the contact us page. We will then reply with a cost of hire and transport. Once you have decided on your show and confirmed with us we will then send through the relevant paperwork which will need to be completed and signed and returned (including a hard copy via post) and your invoice which will need to be paid by the dates on them. We then liaise with you about your scenery checklist to ensure everything you need and require is on it and then loaded on the lorry.

Can I Change the Colours of the Sets & Backcloths? The Colours of the Sets & Backcloths can be changed with clever lighting when in the theatre. They can be lit by your lighting person to match the rest of your set. The Sets andBackcloths tend to be painted or printed using colours you would expect from the scene, however, a clever bit of wash lighting can easily alter the colour to the audience to better suit the mood or scene.

How do we Hang a BackclothBackcloths are hung by a ‘theatre bar’ All of our cloths have ties on the top of them which are tied around the bar to secure the cloth. Please do not make any sort of holes or cause damage to the cloths, any damage caused will be chargeable.

How will the Backcloths be Delivered to me? We arrange delivery and collection for you. We use a courier service who deliver and collect Monday-Friday and will deliver to which ever address you confirm with us. If it is an option for you, you can arrange to collect and deliver the back cloths from/to personally (providing the Backcloths are in an enclosed vehicle and the vehicle is fully insured to carry the goods).

How much does it cost to hire a Backcloth? Current charges are: £125.00+VAT per cloth for up to 7 days, £140.00+VAT for up to 14 days. You can hire for longer periods but please speak to us so we can quote accordingly.

How long can I Hire a Backcloth for? As long as you need it for. Costs are calculated from the time the back cloth leaves our warehouse to the time it returns, there is also an option for you to collect form us personally (this needs to be in an enclosed vehicle and fully insured to carry the goods).

Can I use the Backcloths Outside? We dont hire out Backcloths or Stage Sets & Scenery for any outside events. Our scenery and back cloths are not equipped for water damage and would then be un-repairable.

I can’t find a Stage Set for the Show we are performing? We have a vast amount of scenery in our warehouse and we havent got photo’s of it all, if there’s a show you are putting on and you would like to talk your options through with us please do give us a ring. Can Stage A Show supply a crew to help build or strike the Stage Set? Dont panic! There are various options you can choose from. From option 1 where this is just a deliver and collection at times to suit you to a full build option where we do everything when the set is delivered, built and then dismantled by us. Charges apply. The options are all explained in our Terms and Conditions and explain in detail what you will get in each, but do give us a ring if there are any more questions.

How will the Stage Set be delivered to us? The scenery and props will be delivered in a ridged sided lorry. We provide all transport so that the set you have is delivered accordingly and at times which have been previously agreed on the Terms and Conditions.
